Lines & Strokes: Sketch & Poetry Club at The Junction Market 31.08.24

Join us for Lines & Strokes, a unique daytime sketch and poetry club presented by Ovyuki & Tresor, in partnership with The Junction Market. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just picking up a pen for the first time, this event is a welcoming space for creatives of all levels. Hosted by Ovyuki (poet & photographer) and Tresor (illustrator), it’s an afternoon filled with creativity, connection, and inspiration.

Set in the vibrant food market The Junction Market, our gathering spot is rich with colour and creativity, surrounded by food vendors offering Chinese, Mexican, Indian cuisine, and more. As you dive into your creative process, you’ll also enjoy special meal deals, making it a feast for both your artistic and culinary senses.

This event is open to both adults and children, providing a space where art meets poetry in a harmonious blend. You’ll have the chance to share your work, network with fellow creatives, and unwind to chilled-out tunes, all in a relaxed, judgement-free environment. Our hosts will be on hand to guide you through each session, offering tips and encouragement as you explore your artistic potential. 

Each participant will have a comfortable table setup, and you’re welcome to bring your own sketchbooks, journals, and preferred writing tools.
